Wenlock Road, the film that everyone is talking about!
Filming has continued throughout the summer and as we move into autumn the scenes keep rolling in. With scenes filmed at various locations around the North East, Wenlock road is set to be a wonderful trip down memory lane for many, especially those that worked the railyards of Tyne Dock.
The story centres around a young 'George' whose parents work on the railway at a nearby station. His father a driver, and his mother a ticket collector & guard on the then British Railways network, george is used to hanging around trains and railway stations and spends many an hour getting up to mischief.
